Founding Engineer
About the Companies
We work with several Warsaw-based startups in the AI space, building AI agents across different areas - task automation, enterprise support, personal tasks. The common thread: agents designed to genuinely act on a user's behalf, not just assist.
These companies typically raised pre-seed or series A in recent months and have strong founding teams - people who worked early at successful startups or are ex-founders themselves. They tend to have ambitious plans to scale rapidly this year.
These companies are typically still building out their founding teams. Everyone usually gets a meaningful stock options grant and is expected to grow into leading a larger team over time.
About the Roles
As a Founding Engineer, you'd be one of the first technical hires shaping the core products and infrastructures. You'd work on hard, unsolved problems at the intersection of agentic AI and real-world software - with full ownership and no permission required.
What You'll Typically Work On
Scaling infrastructure that lets AI agents operate reliably at scale
Building state-of-the-art agentic UX
Creating observability, benchmarks, and evals at massive token scale
Ensuring every token delivers maximum value at minimum cost
Building and maintaining integrations with third-party platforms and tools
Tech Stack
Varies by company - typically modern TypeScript-based stacks, cloud infrastructure, and AI tooling.
What We Look For
Exceptional engineers or founders - previous wins or big losses, both count.
Shipped agents to production at scale - not prototypes, real systems, real users.
Speed over process - you value iteration over perfection and don't wait for sign-off before pushing to prod.
No permission culture - comfortable making decisions and shipping with minimal guidance.
True believer - you see agentic AI as one of the most important things you can work on right now.
Fluency in Polish & English.
