About the role
The Finance Manager will be responsible for supporting all commercial processes of the organization entities, including KVG and funds. This role involves assisting with the preparation of annual financial statements in coordination with an external tax advisor and the fund administrator. The Finance Manager will ensure compliance with reporting guidelines (HGB), external audit requirements (including AML), and support the corresponding audits.
The position includes shared responsibility for invoicing and accounts receivable management, supporting payroll processing, and other HR matters. The Finance Manager will also be responsible for BaFin-compliant documentation of processes and act as a point of contact for tax advisors, auditors, and investors.
Additional responsibilities include supporting the project team in the acquisition and sale of assets, documenting investment decisions, and assisting with the preparation of capital calls and distributions to investors in collaboration with the fund administrator. The role also involves supporting the preparation of analyses and materials for investor reporting, including portfolio valuations in accordance with IPEV valuation guidelines, and coordinating and supporting ESG reporting.
