About the Client

We're an international fintech lender on a mission to make funding faster and simpler for small businesses, already operating in 11 countries. We're growing our loan processing team in Kraków and looking for someone who thrives on accuracy, structure, and getting things right the first time.

The role

As a Loan Processing Officer, you'll manage the loan application process end to end, from submission through to contract finalisation. You'll review applications, verify documentation, prepare contracts, and make sure everything stays compliant with company policy and regulatory requirements. You'll be a key point of contact across departments - sales, credit, and external parties like brokers - keeping loan processing moving smoothly and efficiently.

What you'll do

  • Receive and review loan applications for completeness, and conduct eligibility checks based on minimum turnover, industry, and prior conduct.

  • Collect and verify supporting documents from applicants, including bank statements, credit reports, and financials.

  • Draft and prepare loan contracts and agreements based on approved loan terms, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policy and legal requirements.

  • Review finalised contracts for accuracy and completeness before sending them to applicants for signature, with all terms and conditions clearly stated.

  • Communicate with clients to make sure they understand the agreement before funding.

  • Ensure all signed contracts and related documents are properly filed, and maintain organised records of all submissions.

  • Conduct regular audits of contract documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, identifying and addressing discrepancies or errors.

  • Maintain clear, timely communication with other departments such as sales and credit, and respond to external parties such as brokers.

  • Accurately enter applicant information into the loan processing system.

  • Support training and communication with the offshore team.

What you bring

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Knowledge of loan processing systems and procedures.

  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to loan processing.

  • Proficient in data entry and maintaining accurate records.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
