Senior Transformation Strategist
About the company
Enterprise teams in retail and consumer goods still spend their days copying data between systems, chasing work through email and legacy UIs, and reconciling the gaps by hand. We're building the AI operations platform that finishes that work: AI agents that execute end-to-end processes across UIs and APIs, with governance built in.
We're a Series A company of around 70 people, freshly funded and expanding from Europe into the US. Our customers are large enterprise retailers and CPG brands, and the work we do with them shows up on the P&L.
The role
As a Senior Transformation Strategist, you sit with a customer's executives and the people who actually do the work, find where value is trapped, size it, and turn it into a roadmap our platform delivers against. Think of it as consulting with a product behind you and a number at the end of every cycle.
This is a hands-on, individual-contributor seat. You'll structure messy problems fast, commit to a number with incomplete data, and tell a VP or COO what to do next, then do it again on the next workflow.
What you'll do
Find and size the opportunity: work through real operational data (spend, invoices, rate cards, SKUs) to build a baseline, make your assumptions explicit, and land on a number a CFO would forward.
Decide what's worth building: rank the next workflows by size, frequency and capturable value before asking whether we can build them.
Own the executive relationship: be the direct counterpart to COOs, CFOs and operations leaders, run the follow-on conversations yourself, and tell clients what they need to hear even when it's uncomfortable.
Drive adoption on the ground: spend real time with frontline teams so the change actually lands, and earn credibility with the people whose work is changing.
Expand the account: turn a first proven workflow into the next five, and the next phase of the engagement.
Shape the function: we're early, so you'll help define how this work is done here.
What you bring
Top-tier consulting training, ideally entering at analyst or post-MBA associate level, with two or more years at Engagement Manager, Project Leader or Principal level where you owned a workstream and faced the client without a partner in the room.
Short, high-stakes problem-solving cycles: due diligence, value creation, portfolio operations or performance improvement work where you owned a number in revenue, margin, cost or working capital.
Top-down communication: you lead with the point, support it with structure, and can do mental maths under time pressure.
Range across problem types: you've solved more than one shape of problem (e.g. strategy and operations, diligence and delivery, or building something from zero).
A builder's streak: something you've built outside work with a URL, a product with users, a startup or an operating role. You use AI tools daily and can explain why you choose one model over another.
Comfort with ambiguity: you're energised by a Series A environment with no fixed playbook.
Bonus: retail, grocery or CPG exposure (category, trading, merchandising, supply chain), or PE-backed portfolio work. P&L ownership is not required; having sat with the people who do the work matters more.

Founder conversation where relevant.
We aim to move from first contact to offer within about 25 days.
