About the role
The world in which we create is filled with an unprecedented flood of information and data. At the core of rethinking software is the concept of malleable software - digital environments designed from the ground up for profound adaptability and user-driven evolution. Unlike static applications with fixed feature sets, malleable systems can be readily reshaped, extended, and customized with AI assistance.
The Role
Build the automation engine for Sky's AI-powered governance ruleset (the Atlas), and craft the next generation of AI-augmented, malleable tools for thought.
- Own Phase 1 automations to optimize current workflows (Notion, Supabase, diffing, automate governance proposals, sync-back) and build data infrastructure for risk analytics and business intelligence.
- Lead Phase 2 platform & interface foundations for deep knowledge work, including AI agent infrastructure and human+AI collaboration tooling.
- Work end-to-end: drive milestones, communicate risks, ship iteratively with tests, observability, and rollback paths.
What You'll Build
Phase 1 — Atlas Workflow Automation & Data Infrastructure:
- Deterministic Notion to Supabase importer (hierarchy, numbering), integrity validation, JSON exporters.
- Scope selection with Notion Edit Pages, block-ID mapping, change tracking & hierarchical diff.
- Automated Governance Proposal generation with citations and traceability; safe sync-back to canonical.
- Risk Analytics Data Platform: reliable data pipelines (blockchain nodes, DEX APIs, price feeds, lending protocol data).
- Schemas for chain data, market data, and DeFi protocol state with data quality checks and historical accuracy.
- Data substrate that AI agents can query for risk analysis.
- Deterministic monitoring, alerting, and validation layers.
Phase 2 — Deep Knowledge-Work IDE Foundations:
- Atlas Tree Explorer: large-tree virtualization, multi-select modes, conflict detection, structure lints.
- Document Review: side-by-side hierarchical diff, evidence/citations sidebar, rationale tracing.
- Global Preview: future-state tree, consistency checks, impact summaries.
- Novel cognitive interfaces: graph-outline hybrids, spatial canvases, dynamic lenses.
- AI Agent Infrastructure: execution environments for MCP-based agents with tool definitions, provenance tracking, and guardrails.
- Human+AI workflow interfaces for analysts.
- Cryptographic proof systems for data integrity (merkle trees, commitment schemes).
- Event-sourcing architecture for complete provenance and temporal queries.
- Identity/permission systems that scale across agents.
