About the role
ABOUT THE ROLE
You’ll work directly with hospitals and clinics to deploy and refine enterprise-grade systems. These include AI-driven patient communication and triage, agent orchestration systems, and secure healthcare data layers with low-latency voice and video.
This is a hands-on, Python-heavy role focused on building and scaling distributed systems and solving complex, high-impact problems.
At the staff level, you’ll also take ownership of system architecture and reliability at scale, while supporting and guiding other engineers.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
Senior engineering experience
7+ years building complex, production-grade systems.
Systems thinking
Experience designing scalable systems and owning architecture decisions.
Problem solving
Ability to turn ambiguous requirements into scalable solutions.
AI / domain experience (optional)
Background in healthcare, AI, or agentic systems is a plus.
Leadership
Experience supporting other engineers through code reviews and technical guidance.
Cultural fit
Low ego, high agency, comfortable working in a fast-moving environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Architect and scale AI agents for healthcare applications
Work on systems involving LLMs, reinforcement learning, and agent-based architectures
Collaborate with a small team to ship and iterate quickly
Solve high-impact problems including system performance and clinical accuracy
Design system architecture and own reliability at scale
Support team members through code reviews and knowledge sharing
