About Telepatia
At Telepatia, we're building the new standard of medical intelligence in Latin America. Our AI-powered products work directly inside clinical workflows: transcribing consultations, generating structured medical records, assisting clinical decisions and integrating with any health system.
Doctors today spend up to 40-70% of their time on administrative work instead of patient care. We're changing that by building AI "healthcare employees" that operate in real time.
The role
As Engineering Manager, Forward Deployed Engineering, you'll lead the team that connects Telepatia's platform with the systems and workflows our clients rely on every day. You'll build and grow a team of Forward Deployed Engineers, set the technical direction for our automations and integrations, and make sure every deployment is reliable, secure and delivers real value to clinicians.
This is a hands-on leadership role: you'll stay close to the code, the architecture and our clients.
What you'll do
Lead, mentor and grow a team of Forward Deployed Engineers, including hiring, onboarding and career development
Set technical direction and standards for automations (RPA), integrations and AI-powered workflows
Own the delivery of client deployments end to end, from scoping and planning to go-live and ongoing support
Work directly with client stakeholders, including health systems and clinical teams, to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions
Design scalable, reusable integration patterns with health systems and third-party applications through APIs and automation platforms
Ensure automations are reliable, well monitored and well documented
Ensure solutions meet data privacy and security requirements for handling sensitive health information
Partner with Product and Engineering to feed client insights back into the core platform
Identify opportunities to standardise and automate recurring deployment work so the team can scale
Stay hands-on when needed, contributing to design, code reviews and complex troubleshooting
