What You'll Do
Design and implement custom integrations and system adaptations for large enterprise clients
Develop and maintain secure, high-performance backend services using PHP and Phalcon
Own the architecture and implementation of new integration patterns, ensuring reliability and scalability
Work across the stack to solve complex technical problems and deliver clean, maintainable code
Collaborate with product managers and other engineers to understand client requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions
Conduct code reviews and uphold engineering standards across the team
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and reliability issues in production systems
What We're Looking For
Strong PHP development experience, with a track record of building and shipping production-grade backend systems
Hands-on experience with Phalcon or a comparable PHP framework (Symfony, Laravel) - Phalcon experience is a strong plus
Solid understanding of API design, integration patterns, OAuth, webhooks, and third-party service connectivity
Experience working with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and writing performant queries
Comfort with multi-tenant architectures and the challenges of operating at enterprise scale
Strong grasp of security best practices for backend systems
Ability to work independently, take ownership, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Nice to have:
Experience in SaaS or enterprise software environments
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
