Project Manager
About Nanogram
Nanogram is a TikTok-style mobile feed where every item is a short, AI-generated browser game - anyone can make one from a prompt.
The role
You'll run delivery across every engineering stream at once - game generation, QA, mobile, backend, AI and analytics. You'll plan it, track the dependencies between streams, surface blockers before they bite, and keep the release cadence honest. We already have a defined engineering process; the job is running it across the whole org, not designing one.
You'll sit with core engineering in Sofia; product and AI are in London, so part of the job is being the bridge between offices. The founders should be able to stop chasing status the week you start.
This isn't a product management role - you won't decide what gets built. It's not an engineering management role either - nobody reports to you - and it's not a scrum-master-for-one-team role. You don't need to code, but you do need to follow an engineering conversation about mobile, backend or AI without slowing it down.
What you'll do
Run delivery across all engineering streams: game generation, QA, mobile, backend, AI and analytics.
Plan, track cross-stream dependencies, and surface blockers before they bite.
Keep the release cadence honest.
Be the day-to-day bridge between the Sofia engineering team and the London product/AI team.
What you bring
Have run delivery across several technical teams at once - planning, dependencies, blockers, release cadence - ideally in a startup or mobile product setting.
Technically literate about mobile development, backend and AI: you don't need to code, but you understand why an app-store review, a backend migration or an eval run sits on the critical path.
Mobile release cadence experience: App Store/Play releases, TestFlight, release trains, hotfix process.
Experience at a product company, ideally startup or scale-up, owning delivery of a product rather than a client's project.
Hands-on with tools like Jira/Linear, Notion, and a release calendar or dependency tracker you've built yourself.
Some technical background - ex-engineer, ex-QA, CS degree, or years embedded with engineers.
Nice to have
Ex-engineer or ex-QA background.
Has run delivery for an AI/ML team.
Mobile games or consumer app background.
Experience working across two offices or time zones.
Strong English - you'll be talking to London daily.
Logistics
Location: Sofia, in person, from day one. This isn't flexible - you'll sit with core engineering.
Full-time.
Compensation: base + equity
