We're looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) - a product engineer who owns a customer's outcome, not just a slice of the roadmap. Same craft, same bar as a senior product engineer. Different unit of accountability.

What you'll do

Bridge - build production-grade pipelines, agents, integrations, and evals; own the glue that makes customers profitable on our platform
Close - work directly with end-of-funnel prospects, building quick PoCs that prove we can deliver
Build - when the platform can't do what a customer needs yet, build it; flag what belongs in core; automate so we scale
Embed - work side by side with customer teams inside their real constraints (PII, governance, DORA, GDPR); keep every output verifiable

% of bootcamps that convert to paying customers
% of customers successfully onboarded and ROI positive
Time to revenue
Impact of shipped changes across the customer base

Who we're looking for

Product engineer first - ships production software end-to-end (Python, SQL, data tooling) at a high quality bar
Ambiguity-native - comfortable turning vague goals into tangible outcomes; thrives in the pace of an early-stage startup
Data-fluent, ROI-focused - can design pipelines, data integrations, and AI tooling, but has internalized that ROI is what matters
Great with people - customer-facing, comfortable selling ideas, navigating disagreements, and speaking to non-technical stakeholders

Hiring manager screen - motivation and ownership
Coding interview - realistic, messy data problem
System design - turn a vague enterprise problem into something deployable
Customer working session (simulation) - discovery, tradeoffs, scoping
Bar-raiser / values - grit and culture-add under pressure
