The role
The Funding Operations Officer is a critical member of the finance team, specialising in advanced Excel usage, data reconciliation, and report building. This role focuses on leveraging technical expertise to handle large datasets, create actionable reports, and improve processes within accounting operations.
The primary objective of this role is to ensure the accurate and timely processing of payments, including disbursements, refunds, commission payments, and merchant allocations. This role requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll do
Oversee and process loan funds disbursements, ensuring alignment with contract terms and bank statements.
Review, process, and reconcile customer refunds.
Monitor treasury functions and activations for loan repayments and payment plans.
Manage the end-to-end loan lifecycle, from activation to payment setup.
Ensure timely setup and resolution of payment processes for loans.
Support loan settlement processes and assist with initial payment setups.
Oversee commission processing, ensuring accurate calculations and timely disbursement of weekly and monthly payments.
Liaise with relevant in-house teams to verify commission calculations.
Perform and resolve complex data reconciliations across multiple systems and processes.
Investigate discrepancies and implement solutions to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Partner with finance team members to streamline reporting, reconciliation, and loan management processes.
What you bring
Strong advanced Excel skills (macros, reports, complex formulas).
Solid finance or accounting & operational background with relevant experience.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
Process improvement experience, with a proven track record of optimising business processes.
Experience in disbursement processing, loan operations, and commission management.
Experience with financial systems.
Ability to work independently and lead a team in the future.

Full-time.
Compensation: 72,000 - 180,000 PLN gross per year, depending on experience.
