AI Adoption Manager
The role
The AI Adoption Manager will be the driving force behind AI skills development across the entire organisation, especially within non-tech teams. This is a managerial-level, communication-first role situated within the CEO Office, working hand in hand with the AI Enablement Lead in IT - who owns the technical layer. Together, they ensure the company moves fast, securely, and with measurable business impact.
What you'll own
AI Training for Non-Tech Teams - co-design and deliver AI training for non-technical groups including workshops, e-learning modules, playbooks, and role-specific learning paths; translate what works in IT into formats that operations, sales, support, and product teams can leverage immediately
AI Ambassador Network - recruit, train, and retain a network of AI Ambassadors across all business units; build the operating rhythm, materials, and community to multiply adoption locally and ensure knowledge spreads horizontally
Company-wide AI Knowledge Hub - own the SharePoint portal: create, structure, and continuously update playbooks, prompt libraries, how-to guides, use-case galleries, and inspiration; goal is to ensure employees actually use it
Adoption Metrics & Reporting - define metrics that reflect real AI adoption (usage frequency, workflow integration, self-reported productivity, business outcomes); report to leadership; design and implement interventions when adoption in a specific area lags
Internal AI Communications - maintain visible, continuous momentum through newsletters, success showcases, lunch-and-learns, demos, and board briefings; build a narrative that AI is a standard, everyday tool - not an abstract concept
Strategic Partnership with Department Heads - assist in formulating use cases, designing pilots, interpreting results, and scaling what works; serve as the bridge between top-level AI strategy and day-to-day adoption on the ground
AI Landscape Monitoring - continuously monitor new AI tools, use cases, and industry benchmarks; provide a regular feed of practical inspiration to keep the organisation future-oriented
Cross-functional Collaboration - work closely with the AI Enablement Lead, IT, Security, and Legal to ensure adoption remains within a safe, policy-compliant framework; represent the adoption and culture perspective in AI strategy forums
What you bring
Experience:
5+ years in change management, internal communications, L&D, consulting, or a similar role requiring behavioural change at an organisational scale
Proven track record of leading or co-leading an internal transformation or adoption programme - not just participating in one
Experience working with C-suite and senior leadership; comfortable presenting to the board and acting as a strategic partner, not just an implementer
Demonstrated ability to influence without authority - building enthusiasm and driving behavioural change across teams that don't report to you
AI fluency:
Real, hands-on experience with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or similar) - beyond casual use; ability to craft effective prompts, design workflows, and translate AI capabilities and limitations for non-technical audiences
Solid understanding of the AI landscape: well-founded opinions on what is genuinely useful, what is hype, and what is relevant to a specific business context
No coding required, but digital fluency is a must: everyday use of AI products and the ability to independently evaluate new solutions
Communication:
Exceptional written and verbal English (C1 minimum) - this is a communication-first role responsible for company-wide written and spoken materials
Proven ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences: executive leadership, middle management, and operational staff
Comfortable leading large group sessions, workshops, and executive briefings
Analytical:
Strong data literacy: ability to define adoption metrics, interpret dashboards, and translate numbers into a compelling narrative for leadership
Data-driven decision-making: designing interventions based on evidence, not intuition

Familiarity with SharePoint and the M365 ecosystem in the context of knowledge management
Experience designing or delivering digital learning experiences (LMS platforms, e-learning tools)
Background in Developer Relations, Developer Advocacy, or community management
Knowledge of data privacy, AI governance, or Responsible AI principles
