The role

As a Forward Deployed AI Engineer, you'll be embedded with client teams to understand complex business challenges and translate them into production-ready AI solutions. You own delivery end to end - from discovery and prototyping through deployment, adoption and continuous optimisation.

What you'll do

Partner with clients: Work directly with client teams to understand complex business challenges and translate them into production-ready AI solutions.
Own delivery end to end: Drive AI solutions from discovery and prototyping through deployment, adoption and continuous optimisation.
Build with modern AI: Design, build and deploy AI applications using LLMs, agentic workflows, RAG, automation and other modern AI technologies.
Iterate fast: Rapidly validate and improve solutions based on user feedback, technical performance and measurable business outcomes.
Scale into the enterprise: Collaborate closely with Data Engineering and AI Engineering teams to deploy scalable AI systems into enterprise environments.
Communicate clearly: Explain technical concepts, implementation progress and recommendations to both technical and business stakeholders.
Strengthen the practice: Contribute reusable AI assets, engineering patterns and best practices to the firm's AI delivery capabilities.

What you bring

A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence or a related field.
Strong Python engineering experience in production environments.
Experience building LLM-powered applications, including tool/function calling, structured outputs and robust error handling.
Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex or comparable orchestration tools, plus a strong understanding of RAG architectures.
Experience designing agentic or workflow-based systems, with sound judgement on when to choose deterministic vs. autonomous approaches.
Experience building modern web applications with React, Next.js or similar, and an understanding of UX patterns for AI-driven interfaces.
Experience deploying applications to the cloud, with familiarity with Docker and CI/CD.
A strong grasp of enterprise integration, IAM, secure API design and LLM-specific security risks.
Fluent English.

Nice to have:

Cloud or AI certifications.
Kubernetes experience.
Additional local language skills.
