Lead QA Engineer
About Nanogram
Nanogram is a TikTok-style mobile feed where every item is a short, AI-generated browser game - anyone can make one from a prompt.
The role
You'll own quality across the whole product: the iOS app, the Android app, and the Go backend that powers them. Every feature and every A/B variant goes through you before it ships. You test bug fixes, verify that new tracking events actually fire, and smoke-test incident fixes fast enough that they can go out immediately rather than waiting on a full regression pass.
You don't need to write our app. You do need to read our code, run our test suites, and know our tooling by name well enough to work inside it without hand-holding.
This isn't a manual-testing-only role, and it isn't a role where QA is an afterthought bolted onto the end of a sprint - you're in the release path for every feature, every variant, every fix.
What you'll do
Test and evaluate every feature and both A/B variants before release.
Verify bug fixes before they're closed out.
Verify that new tracking events fire correctly.
Smoke-test incident fixes so they can ship immediately.
Work across iOS, Android and the Go backend as one connected system, not three silos.
What you bring
Strong QA background across mobile (iOS + Android) and backend systems.
Comfortable reading code you didn't write - you don't need to ship features, but you need to understand what changed and why.
Hands-on with running test suites, not just writing test plans.
Fluent with the tools of the trade by name: your test runners, your bug trackers, your CI, your analytics/event-verification tooling.
Judgment to move fast on incident smoke-tests without missing the thing that matters.
Nice to have
Experience QA-ing feature-flagged or A/B-tested mobile products.
Familiarity with Go, or backend testing experience more broadly.
Experience with mobile release tooling (TestFlight, Play Console internal tracks).
Startup or fast-release-cadence background.
Logistics
Location: Sofia, in person. This isn't flexible - you'll sit with core engineering.
Full-time employment contract.
Compensation: up to €70,000.
