Recoveries Specialist
About the Client
We're an international fintech lender on a mission to make funding faster and simpler for small businesses, already operating in 11 countries. We're growing our recoveries team across Europe and looking for someone who can turn difficult conversations into resolved accounts, while protecting the customer experience that got them here in the first place.
The role
As a Recoveries Specialist, you'll manage and resolve customer enquiries and complex issues related to overdue payments. You'll work directly with customers across multiple channels, using sound judgement and strong negotiation skills to secure repayment commitments and resolve delinquent accounts. You'll also work closely with internal and external stakeholders, support the wider credit team, and help maintain our reputation through excellent customer service - even in tough conversations.
What you'll do
Manage and resolve customer enquiries and delinquent accounts through effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving.
Set clear payment terms, secure repayment commitments, and protect the customer experience throughout.
Respond to customer enquiries and more complex customer needs across a variety of communication channels.
Apply judgement to resolve complex enquiries accurately, in line with standard procedures and business requirements.
Engage with a network of internal and external stakeholders, taking ownership through to resolution.
Conduct inbound and outbound credit calls to collect overdue payments and secure repayment commitments on delinquent accounts.
Support other credit activities as required.
Help maintain our reputation through consistently strong customer experience.
What you bring
Strong computer literacy and numeracy, with advanced written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to interpret information, follow instructions, and quickly get up to speed on new processes.
Strong problem-solving skills - able to identify issues and work through them methodically.
Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures consistently.
Highly developed reasoning and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence outcomes.
A track record of delivering results and meeting customer expectations, stated and unstated.
Experience applying advanced complaints and dispute resolution techniques.
An eye for opportunities to improve how the business operates.
Polish and English required.
Logistics
Location: Kraków, Poland.
Full-time.
Compensation: PLN 66,000 to PLN 192,000 depending on seniority and experience.
