About the Role
A Senior Sustainability Consultant is needed to join the sustainability practice as a Subject Matter Expert. You'll lead client implementation projects, translating regulatory and business requirements into working solutions, and own engagements from scoping through to delivery.
This is not a back-office advisory role. You'll be client-facing at senior levels, leading workshops, owning pre-sales, and contributing to business development.
What You'll Do
Act as SME and lead on implementation projects - translating regulatory and business requirements into solution functionalities
Drive client engagements implementing sustainability reporting tools (mandatory and voluntary reporting across jurisdictions) and ESG processes
Prepare presentations and workshop materials with a strong executive-level storytelling focus
Lead workshops and client meetings - gathering requirements, presenting concepts, delivering recommendations
Collaborate with the product team, providing input on functionalities and user flows
Own pre-sales and business development activities - proposals, scoping, and RFP responses
Take full ownership of assigned workstreams from scoping through delivery
Leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis, research, and deliverable preparation
What You'll Bring
Minimum 5 years of consulting experience - Big4 or ESG/sustainability boutique
Strong knowledge of sustainability reporting frameworks: compliance reporting, product reporting, EPR, and others
Direct client experience at manager level or above, with a trusted advisor mindset
Strong executive communication and storytelling skills - able to distil complex topics into compelling narratives
Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
English fluency at C1 or above
Comfortable using AI tools to accelerate research, analysis, and content creation - including prompt design, workflow integration, and critical validation of outputs
Self-starter, comfortable navigating new subject areas and owning deliverables independently
