What we're looking for

  • Extensive experience with preclinical, translational, or clinical datasets
  • Proficiency in Python

About the role

We are seeking a highly capable Senior Scientist to join our team, helping us move from data to step-by-step reasoning across applications like Translational Medicine and Clinical Trial Design. This role is for the scientist with a deep, broad perspective on biological data — the one who can see how molecular, omics, cellular, and patient data interconnect. You will be the biological architect for our foundational models, ensuring our outputs have mechanistic validity and translational impact.

Responsibilities:
- Biological Architecture: Drive the selection, integration, and harmonization of diverse biological data (multiomics, clinical, proprietary, and public) for massive pre-training.
- Scientific Imagination: Propose novel biological feature engineering and data-driven hypotheses for drug candidates and patient subgroups.
- Translational Impact: Define the biological ground truth and validation frameworks for models simulating efficacy and toxicity, particularly in translational medicine.

Compensation & benefits

Mission-Driven Work: Directly impact drug development by reducing failure risk and accelerating iteration.
A-Team & Culture: Work in a company with an open culture and ambitious vision.
Growth: Challenging projects and opportunities for advancement in a science-first startup.
Flexibility: A hybrid remote setting with the possibility to work from home, offering independence and flexibility.
